Our pastor, Dr. William Blosch, is originally from Gainesville. He is married to the former Connie Lovallo of St. Petersburg, and they have two grown sons, David (Katherine) and Joseph, and one granddaughter, Charlotte. He enjoys geocaching and disc golfing with his sons.

Dr. Blosch received a Master of Divinity degree in theology from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City and a Master of Theology degree in Christian education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans. He also has a Doctor of Ministry degree in church leadership and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Christian education, both from New Orleans Seminary.

Dr. Blosch retired from the Army in 2000, having served several years as a chaplain in the 82nd Airborne Division of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where he became a master paratrooper. He also served in Germany and Fort Knox, Kentucky. He and his wife have served in deaf ministry in several locations, and he has pastored churches in Indiana and south Florida prior to coming to Chiefland. He was also an associational missionary for eight years in southwest Georgia. His primary ministry calling is teaching and equipping others to serve the Lord.
